MNHockey - Reporting Game Scores
MNHockey has made a number of enhancements over the past couple seasons. As a result, there are now three ways to report game scores. They are:
Volunteer. Last season, a couple dozen Minnesota volunteers and over 500 volunteers took responsibility for entering game scores for all the teams in a division (i.e Minnesota District 6 Bantam A) that they like to follow. These volunteers often spent about 10-20 minutes per week entering an approximately 10-20 games scores. Tell me more about becoming a MNHockey volunteer.
Become a Member. MNHockey now offers a Premium Membership. Becoming a member not only gives you access to over a dozen advanced features, it enables you to enter game scores for your favorite team without becoming an official volunteer. Tell me more about the benefits of becoming a MNHockey Premium Member.
Online Entry. MNHockey has introduced a new option for casual visitors to request missing scores be added for their favorite team. If there is already a volunteer for your favorite district, this is a great way to make them aware that some scores are missing. All online entry scores, however, must be approved by a volunteer. Since there is nothing stopping a casual visitor from having some "fun", volunteer approval is essential. There is one downside to this method. If no volunteer exists for the district that the teams are assigned, it is unlikely the scores will be approved. MNHockey shares this service with MYHockey so you will need to make sure you have selected the "Minn-Kota" lists of teams in the drop down for Team 1/2 Listing.Go to MYHockey Online Guest Score Reporting Page.
Over the years, MNHockey has had to define what qualifies as a game. Check out the definition of a game.
